Renewable Energy Maps for Google Earth

You can now view the NOABL wind map and PVGIS solar map for the UK in the free Google Application Google Earth.

NEW We have now added an overlay linking to our analysis of UK METAR wind data over the period 2000-2010

We charge a fee of £50 per year to use this service. You can have a one week free trial if you are a RenSMART member.

To start you free trial:

• Register as a RenSMART member (you can do that here)
• Sign in to RenSMART
• Visit this page and click on this button
• When you have received a key by email:
• Download and install Google Earth
• Add the following Network Links by clicking on the links below and selecting to open in Google Earth, or by using the Add Network Link option in Google Earth.
